Hedef Alliance, subsidiary of Alliance Boots, jointly with UCP have acquired a 30% stake in Hydrapharm, market leader of Algerian pharmaceutical distribution channel. An additional clause in the purchase agreement includes an option to purchase a 21% stake by 2011. Nomad was sell-side advisor to Hydrapharm Spa. No financials terms were disclosed.
